Wang Xiaodi
Wang Xiaodi was born in 1968. She
graduated from the Directing Depart-
ment of the Central Theatre Academy
in Beijing. She heads the Drama Art
Center in the city of Guangzhou and
is its Artistic Director.
The director staged about 50 drama
performances, Beijing operas and
musicals. She is a winner of numerous
awards, to include Wenhua, Prize for
the New Artistic Repertoire, Chinese
Golden Lion for the theatre direction
and others.
Her main productions are

chant of Venice; Macbeth; Ruler of
South Yue; Behind the Lie; Under
Shanghai Roofs; Not Now, Darling.
